UX Product Designer

This is not a typical design role. You must also be able to demonstrate that you can use analytical thinking to design solutions (using UI/UX best practices) to practical problems, considering both user needs and technical limitations.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement best practices in user experience design and workflow mapping to create intuitive solutions which engage and delight users

  • Work closely with key product and business stakeholders to define and prototype new front-end applications as well as the redevelopment of existing internal and external interfaces

  • Validate usability and functional correctness of newly developed features and user interfaces

  • Maintain and continuously refine front-end design components and user interaction patterns to be reused across a number of web applications

  • Participate in regular reviews and team knowledge sharing activities

  • Research of new and emerging solutions and to keep up to date with latest industry trends and best practices

Skills & Experience:

Experience in modern Web UI design / development

Passion for defining simple, intuitive user interfaces and solutions to complex problems

A strong desire to understand user needs and workflows

Proven proficiency in at least one of the popular UI design applications

  • Sketch, Figma, InVision, Photoshop

Knowledge of modern UI design languages

  • Flat, Material Design

Comfortable working in an Agile environment

Self motivated and keen to learn new technologies and methodologies

Excellent written, spoken and interpersonal communication skills

Education & Qualifications:

  • Qualifications in UI Design / related discipline OR equivalent experience
